Guess who's back? Back again... ;)

After a much needed break spent finding exciting new (new to me) settings and embellishments, followed by the inspirations and promises of warmer weather, I've been back in the woods and in my brand new studio (wooo!) for countless hours creating some of my most beautiful jewelry to date! I can honestly say that I'm very proud of where my art has taken me, and I'm even more excited for everything yet to come! Biggest show of 2014 is upon us!! IMI Holiday Market 2014!!

This Friday and Saturday (yes, Black Friday and Small Business Saturday!) I Made It! Market is doing their annual holiday show for all you peeps to buy locally made art and crafts for your loved ones! This year we are DOWNTOWN! What an amazing place to be for the hustle and bustle of the season! We're expecting huge crowds, so plan to come early! I can't speak for everyone, but I'm not holding ANYTHING back this weekend. I'm giving this show my all, and you won't be disappointed! From my newly updated spice jewelry and ring designs to my new necklace and pendant creations, there will be something for every nature and jewelry lover alike! Beyond Exciting News: Huge Show Announcements!!

I'm extremely excited to announce that I have been selected out of a very small number of vendors to be a part of this year's WYEP Summer Music Festival and the 2014 Rootwire Transformational Arts Festival!! WYEP only accepted 20 vendors this year, and Rootwire is potentially the most important regional arts event at which to be included. What to expect: hundreds of guests, fully stocked bars, food provided by BRGR, DJs, dancing, mingling, networking, and tons of art to experience and purchase! Each artist must sell a number of tickets to the event and is financially responsible for any unsold tickets. Presale tickets are being offered at a discounted price as low as $15 until April 21, but we are also accepting donations of any amount through the day of the show from those who cannot attend (see below for links and my special offer for the first 20 ticket buyers). As a thank you to those of you who do attend, I am unveiling my best jewelry to date at this event because I know that the audience will be true lovers and supporters of amazing local art. I'm pleased to announce that I have decided to showcase my jewelry design and creations at the Pittsburgh chapter of RAW again this year in late April!! I had such an amazing time last year. The outreach and new faces were fresh and exciting, and the level of business I drummed up was certainly worth it!!!

One show (good one at that!!) left in March, so you don't want to miss it!! This weekend (Sat & Sun) at the Monroeville Convention Center is the Keys to Living EXPO!! This is a brand new event in Pittsburgh, and I've been selected to join the field of renowned mediums (readers), yogis, healers, artists, churches, charities, and vendors. If you seek health, healing, and balance through nature, spirituality, and art, then this is the place for you! This is the beginning of my spring line of jewelry... A lot has changed, and it keeps getting better and better!! My Newest Endeavour!

Thanks for stopping over to my blog!  I have been busybusybusy with tons of holiday shows (and finals) and I've had an amazing response to my work!  It feels incredible to sell my art to people who truly appreciate it.  The sense of satisfaction and accomplishment is like no other! 

Now I'm trying to reach even more people who love art and nature by placing an ad in Bust Magazine!!  But I can only do it with your help! 

Please go right now to my fundraiser project on Kickstarter!  You'll get to watch a video explaining what the project is about and how I am helping use the project to teach young girls about self-employment, self-sufficiency and empowerment! 

When I presented this project in my Girl Cultures class, there was a guy (head of the Communications Dept) waiting to interview me!  He even sent my video to one of the local newspapers!  I don't know where/if the stories will run yet but I'll let you know!
